Our journey begins in the capital of New Delhi before we make our way down through India’s jewel state of Rajasthan (including a sunrise visit to the breath-taking Taj Mahal), ending in the heavenly lakeside town of Udaipur.
We get spiritual in ancient temples, take a cycling tour through Jaipur and eat in Old Delhi laneways. We drink on rooftops overlooking glittering cities, and wander through pink walled bazaars. There is yoga at sunrise, cocktails at sunset and endless chai and conversations with the smiling faced characters of each magical city we explore.
This trip is for a first timer and returner alike.
Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Deogarh – Udaipur
DAY 1 — ARRIVAL DELHI
Be met at Delhi International airport by a Trunk representative who will assist with luggage and transfer you to meet the group at our first heavenly hotel.
DAY 2 — DELHI
Today we visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – one of the most prominent Sikh houses of worship in Delhi. Then stop at an open-air government market to sift through home wears, rugs, jewellery, clothes, handicrafts, and have a bite to eat at a trendy shopping district.
DAY 3 — DELHI
Today we visit Old Delhi. After experiencing the quiet majesty of India’s largest Mosque, the Jama Masjid, we take a walking tour though the busting bazaars of Chandni Chowk. Return to hotel for an afternoon at leisure. You may like to relax by the swimming pool or indulge in a massage.
DAY 4 — DELHI to AGRA
Following breakfast at the hotel we travel by bus to our next destination, Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, stopping for lunch on the way.
DAY 5 — AGRA to JAIPUR
At sunrise, we take in the dream-like splendour of the Taj Mahal. We then return to the hotel for breakfast, before driving to the vibrant capital of Rajasthan; Jaipur – also known as ‘The Pink City’.
DAY 6 — JAIPUR
Following breakfast at the hotel, we take a tour of Jaipur’s best handicrafts including carpets, block printed fabrics as well as silver, gold and gemstones. We also try our hand at block printing and create our own pieces of fabric during a special workshop with local masters!
DAY 7 — JAIPUR
In the the morning, we take a cycle tour of Jaipur stopping at the vegetable and flower market, Govind ji temple and enjoying chai and snack along the way. In the afternoon we explore the bazaars of the Old City before catching rickshaws to dinner.
DAY 8 — JAIPUR to DEOGARH
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the village of Deogarh, where we will sleep like royalty whilst staying in the Maharani’s Palace.
DAY 9 — DEOGARH
Following breakfast, the day is at your leisure. Our hotel has a fabulous pool and ayurvedic spa, and one can spend their time relaxing or exploring the quaint village market surrounding the palace. In the afternoon, we take a sunset jeep safari around Deogarh, through rolling hills past goat herders and villages, to an ancient cave temple and stepwell, ending with sundowners by the lake.
DAY 10 — DEOGARH to UDAIPUR
Following breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our next destination, Udaipur, also known as the ‘Venice of the East’. As the sun is setting on Lake Pichola, we take a boat cruise around the reflective waters and have dinner overlooking the breathtaking vistas of Udaipur.
DAY 11 — UDAIPUR
After sunrise yoga on the rooftop of our hotel, the rest of the day is free. Following breakfast at the hotel, we explore the stunning Udaipur City Palace and auspicious Jagdish temple. The rest of the day is free for last minute shopping and relaxing, before dinner on a fabulous rooftop overlooking the glittering lights of Udaipur.
DAY 12 – UDAIPUR to HOME
Breakfast at hotel, after which we transfer to the airport to board flights bound for home.

2. Pay the Private Room Supplement of $2000AUD and have your own heavenly room during the tour.
3. Come solo and be paired up with another solo traveller – subject to availability.
NOTE – We will do our best to find you another guest to share with, however, if there are no other solo travellers you will be required to pay the private room supplement.
