I’m Ali — founder of Trunk and your guide through India.

My journey with India began when I was just thirteen, helping my mum run tours across the country. She led groups here for nearly twenty years, and it was during those early trips that I fell in love with the colour, chaos, kindness, and sheer magic of India.

After a career as a touring musician, I returned to where it all started and launched Trunk in 2017. Since then, I’ve been designing and leading immersive, small-group tours that give travellers a deeper, more personal connection with this incredible country.

I work closely with handpicked hotels, passionate chefs, expert local guides, talented artisans, and trusted drivers to create experiences that are soulful, authentic, and unforgettable.
